hp notebookHP announced it is now offering the Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam edition netbook, which has been originally introduced as a concept. It’s decorated with “vibrant peony blooms signifying good fortune and prosperity” and comes with a matching silk sleeve. Going on sale as promised earlier, the netbook sports Intel’s 1.6GHz Atom CPU and 1GB of RAM. At the same time, buyers will have the option to outfit any Mini 1000 netbooks with a 3G broadband modules from HP, with the service provided by either AT&T or Verizon.
A 3-cell battery powers the Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam netbook. The special-edition netbook is available now, with prices starting at nearly $700. The broadband module is available for the special-edition netbook and the rest of the Mini 1000 range, priced at $199.
