electroluxElectrolux is out with its new energy efficient washing machine which is capable to reduce energy consumption up to 40%. Dubbed as the Electrolux Sunny Washing Machine, This washing machine operates in both hot and cold water, but it has a special program that uses water from the hot water circuit without turning on its heating elements. If the second hot water tap is not available, the machine works in the conventional way by warming cold water with the heater.

safari4Apple released a beta version of their Safari 4 web browser for Mac OS X and Windows the next generation of its Internet Web browser. What’s new? Well Apple has a huge list of 150 features (not all of them new) online, but the biggies are a claimed speed increase in running Javascript (the Apple website claims “Safari 4 executes JavaScript up to 6 times faster than Internet Explorer 8 and up to 4 times faster than Firefox 3.1.”), Full History Search, to search through titles, web addresses and the complete text of recently viewed pages; Cover Flow, to easily flip through web history or bookmarks; and Tabs on Top, to make tabbed browsing easier.

Apple also said that Safari 4 is the first browser to support advanced CSS Effects that enable highly polished web graphics using reflections, gradients and precision masks.

The new beta version is available for download at Apple’s Safari Web page with both Windows and Mac OS versions ready for testing.

The new Samsung TL320 raises the bar for innovation in the digital imaging industry as it is the world’s first digital camera to feature a three-inch AMOLED screen with HVGA resolution.

lenovolenovoLenovo  introduced their new 16 inch notebook.  The IdeaPad Y650 features Core 2 Duo processor, the latest NVIDIA GeForce G 105M 256MB dedicated video card or Intel’s integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 320GB hard drive, a DVD burner, 802.11n WiFi, and Bluetooth. Its display scrren provides 16:9 aspect ratio and 1,366 x 768 resolution. The price starts from $1,299 upwards, depending on the specs. The IdeaPad Y650 is claimed to be “one of the thinnest and lightest notebooks in its class”.

sony-ericsson-w395Sony Ericsson has confirmed the new affordable W395 Walkman phone that has a 2MP camera, Bluetooth, a couple of stereo speakers, dedicated control keys for music, and FM Radio. Each purchase will come with a 1GB memory card and HPM-64 Stereo headset. Sony Ericsson W395 Walkman Phone.

The Walkman music player application itself is fully featured, and includes stereo widening and a built-in equalizer function. Of course album art is also supported, as are A2DP Bluetooth stereo wireless headphones and speakers. Music can be stored on the included 1GB memory Stick Micro (M2) card or in the phone’s 10MB of internal storage.

Other features of note include a built-in HTML browser, a speakerphone, and a vibration alert for when the MP3 ringtones just aren’t enough. Sony Ericsson says that the W395 Walkman’s battery should be good for up to 8 hours of talk time, a whopping 20 days of standby time, or 12.5 hours of continuous music playback. The phone works on all four of the major GSM/EDGE network bands, weighs 96g (3.4oz), and should start showing up in select markets by the end of March. No word yet on pricing.

asusdriveASUS has just introduced external  external DVD drive. Dubbed as the SDRW-08D1S-U, the vertical external DVD burner features Turbo Engine that makes it able to read and write data at the highest speed. The SDRW-08D1S-U draws power from your laptop or PC USB port. The size of this device is 156.4mm x 140.8mm x 21mm which come in black or white .

Panasonic has announced two new dome network cameras with the BL-C101A and BL-C121A. Both are meant for home or business monitoring, and allow users to see what they see over an Internet-connected PC or cell phone.
The BB-HCM527 and BB-HCM547 dome network cameras both offer remote controlled 360° pan and tilt 137° functions from either a mobile phone or PC, as well as a 73 degree viewing angle.
Other features include audio 2-way Communication, night vision, analogue video output so that the system can be integrated with an existing TV, support for both MPEG-4 and JPEG video streams, and progressive scan imaging.
The Panasonic BL-C101A is priced at $130 and the BL-C121A carries a $200 suggested retail price. Both are available now.
